Switching from MA HPS to MA EST

Students who, at the time this curriculum came into effect, were subject to the Master's curriculum in Philosophy and History of Science (HPS) that was valid prior to the enactment of this curriculum are entitled to complete their degree programme by October 31, 2024, at the latest, or to transfer to the current curriculum.

You can also have your credits from the MA HPS recognized for the MA EST before October 31, 2024, and switch programs.

The transfer to the new curriculum takes place in two steps:

1. You send us the notification of your transfer to the current curriculum via the Servicedesk. The SSC will forward the notification to the admissions office. You will be informed as soon as the transfer has been completed.
2. Once you have been transferred to the new curriculum, send us an application for recognition of the credits earned in the MA HPS for the MA EST. Below you will find both the form and an overview of the credits to be recognized. The SSC will review your application and grant recognition.
