Gerneral Information
- Registration
In order to complete a course within an extension curriculum (EC), you must first register the selected EC via u:space (under "Extension curricula"), at the latest in the semester in which you attend the first course (LV) of the EC.
- Organizational matters
The SSC Philosophy is responsible for the administration of the extension curricula offered by the SPL 18, in particular for recognitions within the EC, transfers between ECs, transfers of grades from AE to EC. However, the SSC Philosophy is not responsible for the transfer of courses from EC to AE.
If you have any questions, please contact us via the Service Desk.
- Registration for courses
You do not need to register via u:space to attend non-examination courses. However, in order to gain access to the Moodle learning platform, you must register for this type of course. You can find more information on registration under Registration system.
If the completion of the selected extension curriculum requires courses with continuous assessment (pi), you should register for these courses in good time (during the registration phase). You can find the registration and de-registration deadlines for each pi course on u:find.
- Be careful when selecting the module point!
Sometimes the selection in u:space includes module points for which the course cannot be credited. When selecting the module point, it is up to you to choose the correct module point that corresponds to the coding of the course in the course catalog (see details in the course description, point: "Assignment in the course catalog"). If you do not select the correct module point when selecting the module point, i.e. the module point that corresponds to the course catalog, this can lead to major problems with your degree and to delays in your studies!
