External Examinations

External Examinations

In order to enter an external examination in your transcript of records, we need a formal application from you with associated documents that prove the validity of the examination. Please send us scans of all forms and documents with original signatures electronically via the service desk. Since these examinations can or must be completed at other institutions either directly via the curriculum or SPL decision, no notice will be issued. The “Application for registration of external services” form can be found at the end of this page.

The following cases involve examinations that must be attained externally:

  • Teaching internships (teacher's education programme)
  • Teaching internships abroad with Erasmus +
  • Summer and winter schools

    • School stamp

  • Lessons about topics in psychology, philosophy and/or ethics are generally suitable for PP. With proof of the teaching content, corresponding elective subjects or pedagogy can also be considered.
  • Ethics, religion and philosophy or corresponding elective subjects are eligible for MA Ethics M 3.2. In the case of PP lessons held, the confirmation from the school must either state that the content was predominantly philosophy lessons or indicate the proportion of actual philosophy lessons. Exception: teaching internship in PP or religion, which counts as a flat rate of 7 ECTS. A total of a maximum of 7 ECTS can be used for the MA Ethics.
