Fourth semester: Independent interdisciplinary research

By the end of the third semester, you will be ready to embark on your own independent interdisciplinary research project. You will write a master's thesis under the supervision of faculty from the philosophy and/or economics department. You will also present your work-in-progress in an interdisciplinary research seminar, and contribute to other students' research by commenting on their presentations. 

After completing this independent research, you will have finished your first longer piece of independent research, and have trained your skills in academic research presentation and discussion. The programme then concludes with a master's examination.
